Welcome to Villa Viva - the social guesthouse with a future!

The time has finally come - Villa Viva has opened! And we are overjoyed to be able to share our heartfelt project with you.

Because that's what Villa Viva is all about: Villa Viva is a place of togetherness.

Villa Viva in Hamburg is not just a guesthouse, but rather a platform for active participation and joyful social engagement. Villa Viva CAPE TOWN will open its doors in October 2021, extending the Villa Viva vibe internationally.

The aim is to create a place that is a home for everyone who wants to make a contribution and offers space for exchange. This is where thoughts are given wings, ideas mature into projects and messages are carried out into the world!

Viva CantinaRoofDrop Bar

Of course, the feel-good package also includes physical well-being. And this is definitely not neglected at our Viva Cantina and the RoofDrop Bar.
Whether in the morning, at lunchtime or in the evening, eating at the Viva Cantina is a pleasure! Fresh, sustainable and simply special, the Cantina team conjures up specialities from Italian cuisine at lunchtime. In the evening, the kitchen crew focuses on product-orientated and conscious consumption. Book your table now!

Financing

The whole project is not only special and unique in its nature, but also in its financing.
First of all: not a single cent of donations was used to build Villa Viva.
The entire equity comes from the shareholder gang. This group of 19 private investors have decided to invest in a socially rather than profit-orientated way. The rest of the financing was handled by Villa Viva GmbH via the sustainable Umweltbank. You can find more information about this ingenious concept here!

Sustainability

The project speaks for itself when we talk about sustainability. When working with Viva con Agua, we placed great value on recycled and low-CO2 materials - and used them wherever possible and permitted. For example, we used recycled concrete and aluminium. In many places, however, we have also deliberately done without materials - because even better than recycling is: omitting! That's why many walls and floors have been left bare, unplastered and designed with visible screed. Take a look for yourself!
